This hat is a large child to small adult size. Shown here in Butternut, Sour Cherry and Cream with hand-made Caramel Blonde faux fur pom. (Wow…all that sounds good enough to eat! lol!)

Poms (add $5)

Important! All types of poms must be removed before washing your hat. It’s easy—just untie it from the inside. Spot clean only. For faux fur poms, use low heat on your hairdryer to re-fluff when needed!

WOOL AND GARMENT CARE—IMPORTANT FOR THE LONGEVITY OF YOUR HAND KNITS!

The yarn in The Gooseberry Hat is 100% high quality Superwash wool by Berroco. It is much softer than traditional wool, but still has the slight rougher texture that wool is known for, so take note if you are wool-sensitive.

Superwash means you can machine wash it without felting!

For best results, place in a mesh garment bag in both washer (cold/delicate) and dryer (low/med heat). Alternatively you may hand wash, roll in a towel to squeeze out water, and lay flat to dry (I use Soak brand Unscented no-rinse laundry soap). Remember to never wring or stretch your wet hand-knits!
