So many ways to wear this knit beauty!! 🤩 That's one thing I simply love about asymmetrical "boomerang" shawls like this one. It's a scarf, cowl, hood, shawl all in one! Very trendy and versatile. It is oh-so-earthy, squishy, drapey, and colorful. For its size it’s quite lightweight yet cozy and warm!

This pattern is by Michelle Higgins of @finickycreations. It is knitted with 100% acrylic worsted weight Lion Brand Mandala Tweed Stripes in the colorway Knock On Wood. Dimensions are 14.5” at its widest and 72” long.

GARMENT CARE

Acrylic means it’s easy to care for—both machine washable and tumble dry low. (High heat may damage or even melt the acrylic!) If you have a mesh bag for washing and drying, even better, as this will prevent snags or unnecessary friction against the fabric.

If you have time, I recommend hand washing your knits to keep them looking their best for years to come!

Hand washing is simple nowadays!! To hand wash, simply fill a clean sink or small tub with lukewarm water and add a small amount of no-rinse laundry soap (I use Soak brand). Go about your business and let soak for 15-20 minutes. Then scoop out with both hands and gently squeeze out most of the water. Then roll in a towel to squeeze out a little more, and lay flat to dry, flipping once in a while as needed. Remember to be gentle and never wring or stretch your wet hand-knits.
