Bussin Cowl

$55.00

A unique crochet design to wear all day at the office or a night out on the town! The Bussin Cowl slips over your head and then pulls up and around to form the classic V-shape by attaching a loop over a toggle button. The turtleneck-style will keep you cozy warm, the yarn is soft and fluffy and its classic look is timeless!

This pattern is by Sonja Hood of @knotyourselfout. It is crocheted with 100% acrylic Lion Brand Heartland yarn in the colorway Badlands. Dimensions are 17” at its widest (V-shape) and the opening to slip over your head is a very stretchy 11” in diameter.

This item was crocheted by me in my non-smoking home with animal friends 🥰

GARMENT CARE

Acrylic means it’s easy to care for—both machine washable and tumble dry low. (High heat may damage or even melt the acrylic!) If you have a mesh bag for washing and drying, even better, as this will prevent snags or unnecessary friction against the fabric.

If you have time, I recommend hand washing your hand-made items to keep them looking their best for years to come!

Hand washing is simple nowadays!! To hand wash, simply fill a clean sink or small tub with lukewarm water and add a small amount of no-rinse laundry soap (I use Soak brand). Go about your business and let soak for 15-20 minutes. Then scoop out with both hands and gently squeeze out most of the water. Then roll in a towel to squeeze out a little more, and lay flat to dry, flipping once in a while as needed. Remember to be gentle and never wring or stretch your wet hand-knits.

This video shows exactly how I wash my knits, and how I wash yours before you get it!
